As I look at the reflection

I see a cold and dismal face.

Searching through the darkness

What is this dreadful place

Things look more familliar

As further in I go

Then I pause and realize

This is a mirror to my soul

 

Step into the mirror, Bring some light with you

Step into the mirror, To dispell this gloom

Step into the mirror, Let me feel again

Step into the mirror, True love from within

 

Look at what you did to me

My life is all a mess

Played with my emotions

I bet you did your best

My life is now a wreck

You’re the primary cause

Do you think about it

Each time my teardrops fall

 

Step into the mirror, Bring some light with you

Step into the mirror, To dispell this gloom

Step into the mirror, Let me feel again

Step into the mirror, True love from within

 

Images now surround me

Wisp of my cloudy past

Things I thought were truth

and love I thought would last

So many promises broken

A million dreams denied

Fond memories of laughter

An ocean of tears I cried
