When all of the wounds
of our past mistakes,
have begun to heal,
and to fade away.
We can see through this darkness
that used to contain
all the joy and pleasure
thats become sorrow and pain.
Look into these eyes,
They reflect years of pain.
You tell me you love me,
but words are easy to say.
can you convince my heart?
Thats the real task at hand.
Put together the pieces
of this lonely broken man.
When you look into my life,
what do you see?
Inside theres a sadness,
an everlasting need.
To finally feel the love
Thats always been denied.
Just a little taste of joy,
to wipe away the tears I cried.

from what I’ve become.
